The third season of the anime was confirmed recently by the officials!

It is cast to Earth to be seen from a distance as an Orb. It can take on the forms of the creatures whose reflections it records, transforming first into a rock and then, as the temperature rises, into moss.
It doesn't move until a wolf at death's door nearly passes by on a snowy day. It becomes conscious of its consciousness and begins to wander after taking on the animal shape, with no definite destination in sight. It soon encounters the young boy who is the wolf's master, who is sitting around waiting for his tribe to return from a paradise filled with fruit and fish in the south. Even though he is alone, the young man still believes that those he holds in high regard have not forgotten him and that he will someday be reunited with them.

The official social media accounts for the series revealed that the third season of the anime is presently in production after the 20th and final episode of the second season of the anime adaptation of Yoshitoki Ima's Fumetsu no Anata e (To Your Eternity).The upcoming season will be an adaptation of the "This World" arc from the manga!
