The second season of the anime The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2 is confirmed by the officials!

A trouble-prone young man named Kimizuka Kimihiko is followed in the series as he works as Siesta, a traveling investigator, and the two of them solve a number of mysteries.
But after years of misadventures and lifesaving, Siesta strangely passes away, leaving behind a legacy that will influence Kimihiko's and others' futures.

The television anime adaptation of Nigoj and Umibzu's The Detective Is Already Dead (Tantei wa M, Shindeiru.) manga series will receive a second season, according to the "Natsu no Gakuensai 2022" event for Kadokawa's MF Bunko J light novel label. The event's speakers unveiled a visual in addition to playing a trailer for the upcoming season.
