The anime adaptation of the historical manga is being produced!

There was a shrine maiden named "Itsukihime" in the mountain village of Kadono during the Edo period. Jinta, a stranger who acts as the shrine maiden's guardian, meets a mysterious demon who speaks of the far future in the forest where he went to defeat it. This massive Japanese fantasy series follows a demon man who travels through time while constantly questioning the meaning of wielding a sword, from Edo to the Heisei era.

The anime adaptation of the manga with the same name is being produced as we are writing this. A teaser video where the anime was announced was released back in late 2021. However since then there are no other informations about the anime or the anime's format. We will update this page as soon as more news arrive!
