Takashi Imashiro's famous manga is going to be adapted into an anime for the theaters!

Karin, 11 years old, is abandoned by her father at her grandfather’s house, the monk of a small town in the Japanese countryside. Her grandfather asks Anzu, his jovial and helpful although rather capricious ghost cat, to look after her. The meeting of their strong characters causes sparks, at least at the beginning...

Takashi Imashiro's Bakeneko Anzu-chan manga is now becoming an anime movie, as confirmed by the officials with a tweet. Sadly there are no other informations about the release date or the cast yet but it is known that the directors are going to be Nobuhiro Yamashita and Yōko Kuno. The movie is going to be one and a half hours long and will be produced by the Miyu Productions.
