Go leads Kei and Gai into the Shin Dragon, where each takes a seat in a command post from which the machine is activated. Slowly, the Shin Dragon begins to absorb all of the planet's Getter energy, clearing it of contamination. Some surviving Invaders attempt to reach the Dragon, but the Shin Getter along with Schwarz's team keep them at bay. Culminating in a flash, the Shin Dragon finishes its work and remains silent; Kei and Gai inform the others that Go is dead. From the space telescope, however, the news of another threat arrives: Cowen and Stinger used their semi-destroyed Getter to reach Jupiter, where they detonated the robot's reactor, transforming the giant planet into a Getter-rayed Sun. As if that weren't enough, one of Jupiter's moons, Ganymede, has been pushed out of its orbit and, followed by an army of Invaders, is heading for Earth. All the robots available, led by the Shin Getter, leave for space to destroy Ganymede, in the meantime engaging in a furious fight against the Invaders, which also includes the Japanese Army. Hayato takes the Shin Getter to the center of Ganymede, where Ryoma launches the Stoner Sunshine to blow up the planet. The core, however, is covered with Invaders who manage to return the blow to the sender: hit by its own weapon, the Shin Getter is thrown back towards the Earth and rushing through the atmosphere, it catches fire. At the same time Go and Kei are captured by the Invaders who manage to penetrate their BTs; when Kei utters a scream of terror Go, thought dead, awakens. The Shin Dragon does the same, breaking the cocoon to emerge in a blazing column of light.
