Noe returns to Paris with Vanitas, who seems to be suffering from a debilitating ailment since Jeanne bit him, and he cannot get her out of his mind. Later, Vanitas encounters Roland and Olivier in the street and after he describes his condition, they proclaim that he is in love, much to his astonishment and horror. Meanwhile, Jeanne confides in Luca how she feels about Vanitas and he explains to her surprise that she has fallen for him.
