After learning that Jaden is the Supreme King, Jim decides to use his Eye of Oricalcum to try to free him. He duels Jaden as the Supreme King and during the duel uses the Eye to see inside of Jaden. He sees that a battle is still going on inside Jaden between the good and evil half of him. He tries to reach out to him, but he can't get through the barrier of the Supreme King.
