The Yo-kai Gnomey lives in people's homes and secretly cleans up after them. The Yo-kai Lafalotta teaches Nate how to be funny to impress his classmates. Nate is given a mysterious box and told, "Don't you dare open it!", but when he does, he is turned into a dog.
