Sean is provoked into performing pro-bono surgery on a beautiful model who was raped and horrifically scarred across her face by a serial attacker dubbed The Carver. Julia invites Ava (guest star Famke Janssen) and her son Adrian (guest star Seth Gabel) over for dinner, where Ava's relationship with Matt is revealed, creating conflict between the two women. Bobbi Broderick (guest star Jill Clayburgh) continues to try and destroy Sean's reputation.
