Tohru learns that the zodiac curse is weakening, but is still worried about Kyo, who is destined to be locked up in a cellar for life after graduation as long as he is possessed by the cat spirit. Kyo on the other hand, has an encounter with Tohru's grandfather and hears about Tohru's relationship with her late parents.
