Subaru discovers Shuichi summoning a giant monster with two heads, and crushes them. Yota asks Claire out but she refuses, claiming Shuichi is her other half, hinting at her feelings for him. Shuichi and Chihiro regret their weaknesses, and angrily fuse their broken bodies into a single monster.
