The Head Counselor doesn't care about paying attention to the kids, so he makes up a story about a monster to scare the kids so while the counselors are off having fun, the kids will stay in their cabin. But, Todd and his friends are focused on beating the rich kid camp at the talent show, so they try to catch the monster.
