This episode provided the source for the popular internet trend "Meme Approved". In one scene, a villager asks Knuckles "with whom do I speak about adding a new wing to the library?", to which he replies "with me", before stamping a piece of paper and approving the deed. Fans however mistook his fancy way of saying "me" for the word "meme", therefore starting a trend across the internet where the "with me; approved" part plays and the scene freezes after Knuckles stamps the paper, while a message saying “Congratulations, your meme has been approved” appears. Variants of it have also been created.
