As summer vacation begins, Aoi has still remained depressed from her failure, with Hinata unsure about how to help her. Upon receiving some postcards Hinata and Kokona had sent from Mt. Fuji's summit, Aoi decides to take a walk up Mt. Ternran, the first mountain she climbed with Hinata, and coincidentally ends up meeting her there. Together, they explore the other nearby mountains, cheering her up and encouraging her to tackle mountains once more.
