The chairman of the Monaco cup contacts the French team, and tells them to set the forest on fire after getting fruit from the forest. It is revealed in this episode that team France was indeed being told of everything beforehand and also the reason why they were at an advantage. It also was the reason the Japanese team is in the position they are in, thanks to St. Pierre's Kirisaki.
