On June, 1532, Nobunaga is betrayed by the forces of Akechi Mitsuhide, and he eventually holds out momentarily before being slain by the rebels. He soon finds himself reborn as a Shiba Inu named "Cinnamon", and his owner soon takes him to the dog park, where he still asserts his previous life as Nobunaga. To his surprise, he meets Takeda Shingen, Uesugi Kenshin, Imagawa Yoshimoto, Date Masamune and Kuroda Kanbei, all former personas of the same time period.
