The episode opens up with Lydia in a study room reading a book when Edgar (the Earl) walks in and says that Paul (from previous episode) still can't get the ring off and is wondering about the water horse (Kelpie). Edgar asks if Cain is a real fairy and Lydia says yes but an evil one known as a man-eating Unseelie Court. Another fairy (Sweetpea) comes in looking for Marigold...
