Additional people arrive on the planet who seek to steal the petrified remains of the warrior's lover. With Tetsuro and Maetel's help, he fights them off and Tetsuro gets his pass back. The warrior is killed however, and is laid to rest beside his lover's remains. The 999 manages to escape just as another petrification cloud approaches the planet. This episode was used as part of the TV special Can You Live Like a Warrior.
