Kaito Kuroba accompanies his childhood friend, Aoko Nakamori and her father, Inspector Mace Fuller to prevent Phantom Thief Kid's theft of a Crystal from the Queen. While Kaito searches on where the Crystal is hidden, he realizes it is in Ginzo's cup. Creating a blackout, Kaito puts on his disguise as Phantom Thief Kid and steals the crystal.
