The troupe start a large-scale public disturbance, known as the Why Not Phenomenon, heading towards Sunpu Castle. During this distraction, the troupe make their way inside to search for the room containing Katsu and Saigo, who continue to argue against their will, much to Jubei's amusement. Meanwhile, Sotetsu finds his way in Sunpu Castle inside a distant room, preparing the clay pot for unknown reasons...
