The episode starts with Tsubasa accompanying Mikado, Momotaro and Goshi to an audition for a samurai play. The play will be produced by Ryuji's father, Kenzo Matsukura who will also star in it. The boys practice sword-fighting for the play and one of the auditioners gets possessed by a spirit in the katana and Momotaro gets chosen to fight with him resulting him getting his hand struck by the katana...
