While alone in the classroom, Akebi tells Kizaki that she showed their pictures in the lake to her father, who commented on the beauty of Kizaki's hands. Akebi tells Kizaki that she told her father that it was because Kizaki could play the violin, and commends Kizaki on being able to play an instrument. Oshizu Hebimori, another girl in Akebi's class, overhears some girls playing with an electric guitar, and remarks on how much she loves it. While reading from a music magazine, Akebi finds her. Akebi notices the magazine, and asks Hebimori if she knows how to play instruments. She responds that she does not, but seeing Akebi's gleaming eyes, she says that she knows how to play the guitar...
