Miyako sends a letter to Kippei's family stating she still isn't coming back yet, along with another letter addressed to Yuzu. Kippei gives the letter to Yuzu without reading it. Class seats are changed, and Kippei ends up sitting next to Kokoro. Yuzu and Miyako separately remember their time together.
