The Autobots receive a distress signal from Daros, a planet that the Decepticons have attacked, and find them slaughtering the inmates at a penal colony. Several of the inmates are rescued and then abducted Daniel, but after he is freed they reveal that they are political prisoners whose leaders have allied with the Decepticons.
