With victory in his grasp, Desaras transforms his fortress into a giant laser cannon in preparation to destroy Earth, unaware that Victory Saber has survived his most recent assault and is still driven to stop him. On the surface, Landcross takes out one of Desaras' meteor missiles but is badly damaged in the process; this along with Road Caesar and Greatshot's failed space battle against the fortress leaves the majority of the Autobots out of action...
