With the bulb destroyed, the Twelve Guardians are busy dealing with the Kegare around the city, leaving the task of taking down the plant to the Twin Stars. Meanwhile, Rokuro and Benio discover the plant's core and after being almost killed by it they figure out that even after the bulb was destroyed, the plant is still gathering energy out of the air...
