PLOT
The kingdom of Kouka is fortunate to have a stunning princess who attracts everyone she meets with her innocent demeanor. She has been raised under the protection of the royal palace and is known by the name Yona. But everything nice has to come to an end. When a horrible act of betrayal threatens to destroy everything Yona loves dear, including her birthright as the princess of Kouka, her ideal world comes tumbling down. She is compelled to leave the palace because she has no one else to rely on but her devoted bodyguard and childhood companion Son Hak. Yona discovers that her country is no longer the secure sanctuary it once was as she is faced with the dangers of surviving in the wild while carrying a target on her back. Yona promises to do everything in her ability to grow strong enough to defeat her adversaries now that she is free from the restrictions of innocence. She must piece together the fragments of an old mythology with Hak by her side because it just could hold the answer to recovering her realm from those who plotted to take it away.
