PLOT
Ittoki Sakuraba is baffled as to why Kousetsu, a boyhood buddy, his uncle, and his mother appear to take his security so seriously. Without regard for his privacy, Kousetsu relentlessly pursues him and keeps an eye on him, putting his safety above all else. But when Satomi Tsubaki, a cute second-year student at his high school, asks Ittoki out on a date, the persistent hounding begins to make sense. Tsubaki appears to have good intentions at first, but when Ittoki comes to her residence, it becomes clear that she has other people helping her carry out her assassination plan. Unexpectedly, his uncle and Kousetsu—clad in their ominous and lethal ninja garb—come to his help. Ittoki's mother discloses the truth after leading him to safety: he is the 19th successor to the illustrious Iga clan of ninjas and the target of an assassination attempt by the Koga clan. Ittoki must perfect his abilities at the sole remaining ninja academy in Japan, the Kokuten Ninja Academy, in order to defend himself against this new threat.
