PLOT
After learning about photon power, humanity enters another energy revolution in the near future. It was created from ore that was found beneath Mt. Fuji's foothills and was meant to exploit its incredible power to address the world's energy issues. Dr. Hell, a maniac seeking global dominance, is after this energy. He is leading an army of mechanical creatures resurrected from the ruins of ancient Greece under the direction of Baron Ashura, Count Brocken, and Viscount Pygman in an effort to take control of the Photon Power Lab. The fiery adolescent Kabuto Kouji, driving the Photon Powered robot Mazinger Z, designed by his grandpa, meets the attack head-on. But many myths about the Mycenaean Civilization, Bardos Island, and the secrets of Mazinger Z remain a mystery in this conflict between Dr. Hell and the Kabuto family. a fresh show based on the original mecha program, Mazinger Z. Shin Mazinger Shougeki! In order to tell a new story unrelated to the previous program, Z-Hen starts over from the very beginning with a new cast.
