PLOT
Koujirou Shindou is a government official and skilled negotiator who has established a solid reputation for being level-headed and logical. On his way to a business meeting, a huge cube appears, taking his plane unharmed into the enigmatic, unbreakable building. Shindou comes into contact with an extraterrestrial being known as Yaha-kui zaShunina who manifests as a human man as Japanese officials try to determine the cube's characteristics and origins. He tells Shindou that none of the passengers are in danger and asks for assistance in dealing with the human world. Yaha-kui zaShunina, who originates from the higher-dimensional universe known as Novo, is able to transmit data between Novo and Shindou's universe using a cube known as Kado. He doesn't seem hostile despite having these unfathomable talents. Instead, he declares that his sole purpose in being here is to "progress" humanity, beginning with Japan.
