PLOT
Demetrios is criticized for his lack of resolve and inability to maintain composure under pressure, despite the fact that his primary occupation in Ancient Greece was vase painting. He is abruptly transferred to Tokyo in 1964, the first year Japan hosted the Summer Olympics, after being struck by lightning one day. Demetrios ends up bringing the knowledge he has learned from the current era to his own time period everytime he returns after being struck by lightning, more than accommodated by a family who merely excuses him as a harmless stranger. Demetrios gains self-confidence and learns how to win over his fellow villagers as he alternates between the two eras, just in time to grow stronger to plan and take part in his own Olympics at home.
