PLOT
The docks offer a glimpse into the very essence of marine life, including mermaids?, the rhythmic, serene sounds of the waves, and tiny insects skittering across the pier. When he catches the vivacious mermaid Muromi-san, Takurou Mukoujima's peaceful fishing days are over. She proceeds to amuse herself around her new buddy, even though he is obviously uninterested. Takurou finds it difficult to keep up with Muromi-speed san's now that he has a chatty and impulsive companion by his side as she begins to invite her deep-sea pals, turning the pier into a popular gathering place for mythical animals. Even though every day is different and fascinating, Takurou just wants to fish alone.
