PLOT
In the heart of the Shouwa era, avarice is prevalent throughout the nation's bustling cities and towns. Enma Daiou, the King of Hell, calls a representative—a little boy named Kurayami Santa—into his office. Santa learns from Enma's debriefing that the quantity of greed and selfishness produced by people will eventually result in a massive surge of souls entering Hell at the same time, which would be disastrous for Hell itself. One task has been assigned to Santa: take action. Santa is given free reign to handle the matter anyway he sees fit because there are no regulations or norms. The representative of Hell emerges when a raging rainstorm in the human world strikes a neighboring cemetery with a lightning strike. As soon as Santa is teleported into the world of people, he discovers that people are every bit as evil as Enma had predicted. Santa sets off on his mission to finish the assignment from Hell and bring order back to the realm of humans without disrupting the delicate balance between light and dark.
