PLOT
Shinobu Oomiya once traveled from Japan to England to take part in a homestay. Alice Cartelet, the daughter of the family she was staying with, and she grew close during her time there. The two were able to communicate their sadness when it was time for Shinobu to return to Japan despite their language barrier. Shinobu receives a letter in an unfamiliar language through air mail five years later, now a freshman in high school. This letter, written by none other than Alice, describes her personal experience staying at a home in Japan. In actuality, Alice will reside with Shinobu and attend her high school. The five girls go to school together and daily learn about what their various cultures have to offer through their pals Youko Inokuma, Aya Komichi, and Karen Kujou.
