PLOT
The austere Emperor Xiao Jinyun and the vivacious Empress Xu Yu are rivals inside the Chinese imperial court. However, the universe has an interesting solution for their problems: a collision forces the two to switch bodies, forcing them to walk in each other's shoes. The emperor and empress must now manage the maintenance of their identities, unruly concubines, and the country as a whole while handling new responsibilities and court dynamics. By doing this, Xiao Jinyun and Xu Yu's unique traits and personal attributes find new applications, and their mutual understanding and compassion deepen. But there are significant dangers both within and outside the court. Internal conflict and mistrust may result in the pair's untimely demise if the imperial astrologer is unable to find the key to sending them back in time.
