PLOT
Mai Kawai is a brand-new police officer who only chose to accept the position because she wanted a reliable source of income. She decides to leave the police force since she is unhappy with her professional path. Seiko Fuji, who had been moved to serve as the director of her station, meets her on the day she had intended to submit her resignation. Kawai is motivated to postpone her resignation by Fuji's commitment to the police force. The two and other police officers are followed throughout the series as they work to solve crimes in their neighborhood.
