PLOT
"Digimon Adventure tri. 4: Soushitsu," also known as "Digimon Adventure tri. Loss," is the fourth installment in the "Digimon Adventure tri." movie series. The series serves as a sequel to the original "Digimon Adventure" and "Digimon Adventure 02" series. In "Soushitsu," the DigiDestined suffer a major setback after their partner Digimon are rebooted, and their memories of their human companions are erased. The group returns to the Digital World in the hopes of reclaiming these lost bonds, only to encounter a new and formidable foe, Dark Gennai, who presents a serious threat to both the Digital and Real Worlds. The movie places a major focus on Sora Takenouchi, whose partner Digimon, Biyomon, is particularly resistant to rekindling their old friendship after the reboot. This puts Sora in a state of distress as she grapples with feelings of rejection and tries to reconnect with Biyomon.
