PLOT
In a future Japan where android housekeepers are the norm, society strictly adheres to the Three Laws of Robotics, which every android is required to abide by. The Robot Ethics Committee has determined that androids should be regarded in the same manner as older technology, such as home appliances. But there is a small group of people who are obsessed with androids; they are known as "android-holics," and the majority of people avoid them. Rikuo Sakisaka was brought up to embrace the stereotype of androids that society has created and is well aware that they are not human. That is, until the day his home android, Sammy, found a weird message hidden among the activity records. This brings him to Eve no Jikan, a cafe where there is just one rule: there is to be no discrimination between humans and androids. Rikuo is curious and wants to find out more about the store and the origin of Sammy's strange conduct.
