PLOT
Unproductive wolf Uruno is traveling in quest of a new residence. He soon discovers a vast forest full of "useless animals," or animals that don't exhibit the typical traits of their species. Uruno decides he wants to go on after a brief altercation with the smoking, irritable rabbit Usahara. however after meeting the awkward cheetah girl Chiiko, he changes his mind. For Uruno, it is love at first sight, and after agreeing to stay for her, he still holds out hope that eventually, despite being a worthless loser, he will win her over. That is, assuming he doesn't get sick of interacting with the other odd denizens of the forest, which include the aforementioned smoking rabbit, a sake-drinking unicorn, a nearsighted eagle, an orca that can't swim, and a timid pegasus.
