PLOT
Poor third-year high school student Nariyuki Yuiga works arduously to be nominated for the VIP scholarship, which would pay for all of his college expenses. The headmaster presents him with the prestigious scholarship in appreciation of his diligence. The one requirement for this scholarship is that he must tutor the school's geniuses in their hardest subjects. The math prodigy Rizu Ogata, who wants to study humanities, the literary legend Fumino Furuhashi, who wants to study science, and Uruka Takemoto, Yuiga's sports-savvy childhood pal who is useless at everything else, join his new group of students. Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai follows Yuiga as he engages in a variety of bizarre and humorous acts while attempting to instruct his three eccentric tutees. Will Yuiga be able to assist his students in realizing their goals, though, as Ogata and Furuhashi's desires clash with their abilities?
