PLOT
Minoa Asagaya had been having dreams about an anime she had watched as a child, and one specific scene stuck in her mind. But she can't remember the name of the show, try as she may. Minoa approaches her Sakaneko High School peers for assistance as a result. Arisu Kamiigusa, the most well-liked and rich student in the class who is also a die-hard otaku, overhears her chat. Arisu, despite her extensive expertise, is unable to identify the program. Minoa and Arisu start the Anime Research Club after learning that their school does not have an anime club because they believe that by bringing together people with similar interests, they can find the solution to Minoa's riddle. Minoa is thus introduced to a peculiar new realm: the world of anime!
