Aimi and Kaoruko are would-be comics and defenders of the law in Love Pheromones. They accept part-time employment as the superheroine team "Love Pheromones" while their manager, Tomokazu Seki, works to place them in a position that will allow them to become famous. They fight various forms of evil, but because they consistently decimate half the city, everyone misperceives them for bad beings and fears them. The five Hokke sisters are shown in the other half of the program, Heretic Girls Squad, as being abandoned by their now-deceased parents and living in abject poverty. The members of the family are Otone, Maika, Yoku, Kanashi, and Utano, in order of age. One day, they free Akumako, an imp their father had imprisoned within a vase. They are informed by Akumako that their parents were members of an evil organization and that they must turn "evil" in order to carry out their parents' goals. To do this, they adopt the identity of the Gedou Otome Tai, a group of Magical Girls dedicated to doing evil. Sadly, all of their efforts result in someone being helped, and they are falsely viewed as heroes. Mistaken identity is a frequent subject in Akahori Gedou Hour Rabuge, where both groups of females are mistakenly viewed as villains and heroes, respectively. Following one's dreams, whether they involve becoming the world's greatest villain or a well-known comedy team with hordes of admirers, is another subject.
