PLOT
Shoutarou Futaba has always been a sports enthusiast, yet on his middle school baseball team, he was never more than a benchwarmer. He spontaneously chooses to attend a competition for rhythmic gymnastics after spotting a group of gymnasts exercising in the park. The Shoushukan High School's Rhythmic Gymnastics Club ranks second-to-last despite giving an exciting performance at the tournament due to penalties received for not fielding a full six-man squad. Shoutarou is enthralled by the display of talent and decides to enroll at Shoushukan in the hopes of joining the squad despite having no prior experience with the game. Along with him, the club signs Ryouya Misato, a renegade gymnast who finished second in a young competition. The team is ready to play in the forthcoming Inter-High tournament now that it has a full six-man roster. In order for Shoushukan to have any chance of winning the competition, Shoutarou must learn and master the fundamentals of rhythmic gymnastics while collaborating with his new colleagues.
