PLOT
Yamada, a 15-year-old high school student who has a lascivious tendency and dreams of having sex with 100 different people, is the main character in B Gata H Kei. She, however, rejects every man who approaches her due to her concerns about being a virgin. Yamada begins on a search for her "golden cherry," a young boy to whom she will offer the privilege of becoming her first, in order to overcome this mental obstacle. The tragic encounter between Yamada and classmate Kosuda Takashi occurs one day as Yamada is browsing a bookstore to replace a dictionary that she had soiled by marking all the sexual terms. Yamada makes considerable efforts to woo Kosuda because she thinks he is the man she is looking for. While doing so, she learns how challenging it may be to take the initial, first step, let alone determining her inner emotions for Kosuda Takashi.
